Floor Shift Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the 2 connectors to the floor shift lever assembly.
    2. Install the floor shift lever assembly with the 4 bolts.
      1. Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 73 in.lbf)

  2. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
    1. Install the console box assembly.
    2. Install the parking brake hole cover assembly.
    3. Install the box bottom mat.
    4. Install the console upper panel.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD 
    1. Shift into the N position.
    2. Connect the No. 1 floor shift gear shifting rod and connecting rod swivel with the nut.
      1. Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf) 
  4. CHECK SHIFTING LEVER POSITION (See  PRE-CHECK  )
