Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTCS
- Operate the passenger door power window regulator switch. Check if any DTCs are output.
Result:
B: PROCEED TO DTC CHART (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
A: Go to next step.
- Operate the passenger door power window regulator switch. Check if any DTCs are output.
- READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
- Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and press the hand-held tester main switch ON.
- Select the items below in the DATA LIST, and read the displays on the hand-held tester.
Passenger door ECU:
OK: "ON"(switch is operated) appears on the screen.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY
- Remove the regulator switch.
- Disconnect the switch connector.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals of the with harness side connector.

NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY FRONT RH
OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY FRONT RH -PASSENGER DOOR ECU)
- Disconnect the P10 switch connector.
- Disconnect the F16 and F17 ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
