Deceleration Sensor Check

NOTE:
When inspecting deceleration sensor, remove it with bracket. Do not remove sensor from bracket. Do not apply voltage of 6 volts or more to terminals VGS and GGND.
- Connect 3 1.5 volt batteries in series.
- Connect VGS terminal to batteries' positive terminal, and GGND terminal to batteries' negative terminal. Apply about 4.5 volts between VGS and GGND terminals. See Fig 1.
- Check output voltage of GL1 and GL2 terminals. See Fig 2.
- Do not tilt sensor too much or it may show wrong values. If dropped, sensor should be replaced with a new one. Sensor removed from vehicle should not be placed upside down.
