Fuel Lid Lock Control: Replacement

HINT:

The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSY LH (60/40 SPLIT SEAT TYPE) (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSY LH (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
   1. Remove the rear door scuff plate.
   2. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip.
   3. Remove the deck board.
   4. Remove the tonneau cover.
   5. Remove the deck floor box front.
   6. Remove the deck floor box rear.
   7. Remove the deck board No. 2. (h) Remove the deck board No. 3.
   8. Remove the back door weatherstrip.
   9. Remove the deck side trim box LH.
   10. Remove the deck side trim box RH.
   11. Remove the rear floor finish plate.
   12. Remove the rear floor finish side plate.
   13. Remove the deck side trim cover.
   14. Remove the rear seat side cover.
   15. Remove the 2 rope hooks.
   16. Remove the deck trim side panel.
3. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL ASSY 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the nut and fuel lid lock control.

4. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 
   1. Remove the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer, as shown in the illustration.

5. INSTALL FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER 
   1. Install the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer, as shown in the illustration.

6. INSTALL FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL ASSY 
   1. Install the fuel lid lock control with the nut.

      Torque: 4.0 N.m (41 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf) 

   2. Connect the connector.
