Inspection Procedure
- CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (DRIVER SIDE)
- Check that the power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
- NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE ON DRIVER SIDE )
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK LAMP OF POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE SWITCH)
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Operate the driver side switch of the master switch.
- Check the blinking pattern of the AUTO lamp as shown in Fig 2
.
- If pattern (1) is displayed, proceed to A.
- If pattern (2) or (3) is displayed, proceed to B.
- If the normal pattern is displayed, proceed to C.

- B: Go to step 4
- C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
- A: Go to next step.
- RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) (Refer to pre-check, step 16) (See PRE-CHECK
)
- NG: Go to step 4
- OK: END
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P22 master switch connector.
- Disconnect the P23 power window motor connector.
- Check the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
RESISTANCE BETWEEN POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH AND POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR CONNECTOR TERMINALSTester Connection Specified Condition P22-19 (VCC) - P23-4 (SSRB) Below 1 Ω P22-5 (PLS1) - P23-5 (PLS) P22-15 (PLS2) - P23-3 (PLS2) P22-12 (SGND) - P23-6 (E) P22-19 (VCC) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher P22-5 (PLS1) - Body ground P22-15 (PLS2) - Body ground
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (DRIVER SIDE)
