Inspection Procedure
- CHECK AUTO UP/DOWN FUNCTION (REAR LH)
- Check that the power window AUTO UP/DOWN function operates normally.
- NG: Go to step 2
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR (REAR LH)
- INSPECT FUSE (RR DOOR LH)
- Remove the RR DOOR LH fuse from the instrument panel J/B.
- Check the resistance.
Standard: Below 1 Ω
- NG: REPLACE FUSE
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FOR POWER SOURCE OF REAR LH POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY)
- Disconnect the P20 regulator switch connector.
- Check the voltage between the wire harness side connector and the body ground.
Standard:
REGULATOR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINALS VOLTAGETester Connection Specified Condition P20-12 (BDR) - Body ground 10 to 14 V

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FOR GROUND OF REAR LH POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY)
- Disconnect the P20 regulator switch connector.
- Check the resistance between the wire harness side connector and body ground.
Standard:
REGULATOR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCETester Connection Specified Condition P20-7 (GND) - Body ground Below 1 Ω

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FOR WINDOW LOCK SWITCH OF REAR LH POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY)
- Remove the regulator switch (the connector is connected).
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between the terminals.
Standard:
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINALS VOLTAGEWindow Lock Switch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition ON (Normal) P20-11 (PCT1) - P20-7 (GND) 10 to 14 V OFF (Lock) P20-11 (PCT1) - P20-7 (GND) Below 1 V

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the P20 power window switch connector.
- Disconnect the P25 power window motor connector.
- Check the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard:
POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH AND POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCETester Connection Specified Condition P20-1 (DN) - P25-2 (D) Below 1 Ω P20-6 (UP) - P25-1 (U) P20-1 (DN) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher P20-6 (UP) - Body ground

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY (REAR LH)
- Remove the regulator switch (the connector is connected).
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check the voltage between the terminals.
Standard:
REGULATOR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINALS VOLTAGESwitch Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition UP P20-6 (UP) - P20-7 (GND) 10 to 14 V DOWN P20-1 (DN) - P20-7 (GND)

- NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR
- OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (REAR LH)
Reference:
Check operation of the power window motor (rear LH).
- Remove the motor (See OVERHAUL ).
- Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor rotates smoothly.
