Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH (DRIVER DOOR ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the P22 switch connector.

    3. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE

      GND (P22-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Constant Below 1 Ω
      BDR (P22-10) - GND (P22-2) G - W-B +B (BDR) power supply Constant 10 to 14 V

      SIG (P22-20) - GND (P22-2) BR - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 to 14 V
      UP (P22-1) - DN (P22-11) GR - B
      • Power window motor UP output
      • Power window motor DOWN output
      Constant Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the P22 switch connector and reset the power window motor (Refer to the pre-check, step 16) (See PRE-CHECK  ).
    5. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.

      Standard: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE

      • Power window motor power source

      If the result is not as specified, the master switch (door ECU) may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P19 switch connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE

      • Power window motor DOWN output

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P19 switch connector and reset the power window motor (Refer to the pre-check, step 16) (See PRE-CHECK  ).
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, the regulator switch (door ECU) may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR LH DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P20 switch connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE

      (1)SEL2 (P20-10) - GND (P20-7) W-B - W-B Terminal for identification of rear LH switch Constant Below 1 Ω
      (1) Terminal SEL2 is used to distinguish between the front passenger side regulator switch, rear LH regulator switch and rear RH regulator switch. To distinguish between them, terminals SEL1 and SEL2 for the front passenger side regulator switch are not grounded; the positions of terminals SEL1 and SEL2 are different between the rear regulator switches LH and RH.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P20 switch connector and reset the power window motor (Refer to the pre-check, step 16) (See PRE-CHECK  ).
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, the regulator switch (door ECU) may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR RH DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P21 switch connector.
    2. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE AND RESISTANCE

      (1) Terminal SEL1 is used to distinguish between the front passenger side regulator switch, rear LH regulator switch and rear RH regulator switch. To distinguish between them, terminals SEL1 and SEL2 for the front passenger side regulator switch are not grounded; the positions of terminals SEL1 and SEL2 are different between the rear regulator switches LH and RH.

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P21 switch connector and reset the power window motor (Refer to the pre-check, step 16) (See PRE-CHECK  ).
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connector.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, the regulator switch (door ECU) may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the B4, B5 and B6 ECU connectors.
    2. Disconnect the 1 A, 1D, 1F and 1M J/B connectors.
    3. Check the voltage and resistance between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.

      Standard:

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the B4, B5 and B6 ECU connectors.
    5. Reconnect the 1 A, 1D, 1F and 1M J/B connectors.
    6. Check the voltage between each terminal of the connector and the body ground.

      Standard: 

      INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY AND ECU TERMINALS VOLTAGE
