Mayday ASSY: Replacement

HINT:

The installation is in the reverse order of the removal. However, when there is a special point concerning the installation, it is indicated.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSY RH (4-2-4 SPLIT SEAT TYPE) (See  REAR SEAT ASSY RH  ) 
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSY LH (4-2-4 SPLIT SEAT TYPE) (See  REAR SEAT ASSY LH  ) 
3. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSY (See  ROOF HEADLINING ASSY  ) 
   1. Remove the rear door scuff plate LH.
   2. Remove the rear door scuff plate RH.
   3. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
   4. Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH.
   5. Remove the deck board.
   6. Remove the tonneau cover.
   7. Remove the deck floor box front.
   8. Remove the deck floor box rear.
   9. Remove the deck board No. 2.
   10. Remove the deck board No. 3.
   11. Remove the back door weatherstrip.
   12. Remove the deck side trim box LH.
   13. Remove the deck side trim box RH.
   14. Remove the rear floor finish plate LH.
   15. Remove the rear floor finish plate RH.
   16. Remove the rear floor finish side plate LH.
   17. Remove the rear floor finish side plate RH.
   18. Remove the deck side trim cover LH.
   19. Remove the deck side trim cover RH.
   20. Remove the rear seat side cover LH.
   21. Remove the rear seat side cover RH.
   22. Remove the 4 rope hooks.
   23. Remove the deck trim side panel LH.
   24. Remove the deck trim side panel RH.
4. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET ASSY FRONT 
   1. Remove the 5 clips.
   2. Turn over the carpet in the direction indicated by arrow.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SUB FLOOR PANEL ASSY 
   1. Remove the 3 bolts, 3 nuts and floor panel.

6. REMOVE MAYDAY ASSY 
   1. Disconnect the connectors.
   2. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and mayday.

7. REMOVE BUS BUFFER ECU 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the cap.
   3. Remove the nut and ECU.
8. REMOVE PORTABLE PHONE-L BATTERY 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the nut and mobile phone bracket.
   3. Remove the battery.
9. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU ASSY 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the 4 bolts and mayday ECU assy.

10. REMOVE TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 3 screws and transceiver.
