SFI System - Diagnosis: Precaution

NOTE: When disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected.

Lighting System (Adaptive Front-Lighting System) (See step 15 under PRE-CHECK )
Power Window Control System (See step 16 under PRE-CHECK )
Power Back Door System (See step 8 under PRE-CHECK )
Sliding Roof System (See step 7 (Standard Type) or step 8 (Multi-Panel Moon Roof Type) under PRE-CHECK )

Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transaxle assy, engine assy or ECM.

HINT:

Initialization can not be completed by only removing the battery.
