Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION (REAR LH) 
    1. Check that the power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE AT REAR LH   ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK LAMP OF POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR LH) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Operate the power window regulator switch.
    3. Check the blinking pattern of the lamp as shown in Fig 2 .
      1. If pattern (1) is displayed, proceed to A.
      2. If pattern (2) or (3) is displayed, proceed to B.
      3. If the normal pattern is displayed, proceed to C.

    1. B: Go to step   4 
    2. C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR (REAR LH) 
    3. A: Go to next step. 
  3. RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (REAR LH) (Refer to pre-check, step 16) (See  PRE-CHECK   ) 
    1. NG: Go to step 4 
    2. OK: END 
  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the P20 regulator switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P25 power window motor connector.

    3. Check the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      RESISTANCE BETWEEN POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY AND POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR CONNECTOR TERMINALS

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      P20-5 (VCC) - P25-4 (SSRB) Below 1 Ω
      P20-3 (PLS1) - P25-5 (PLS)
      P20-4 (PLS2) - P25-3 (PLS2)
      P20-8 (SGND) - P25-6 (E)
      P20-5 (VCC) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      P20-3 (PLS1) - Body ground
      P20-4 (PLS2) - Body ground
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (REAR LH)
