Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW OPERATION (REAR RH) 
    1. Check that the power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
    1. NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE AT REAR RH   ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK LAMP OF POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH (REAR RH) 
    1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
    2. Operate the power window regulator switch.
    3. Check the blinking pattern of the lamp as shown in Fig 2 .
      1. If pattern (1) is displayed, proceed to A.
      2. If pattern (2) or (3) is displayed, proceed to B.
      3. If the normal pattern is displayed, proceed to C.

    1. B: Go to step   4 
    2. C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY REAR (REAR RH) 
    3. A: Go to next step. 
  3. RESET POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (REAR RH) (Refer to pre-check, step 16) (See  PRE-CHECK   ) 
    1. NG: Go to step 4 
    2. OK: END 
  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the P21 regulator switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the P26 power window motor connector.

    3. Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      RESISTANCE BETWEEN POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH AND POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR CONNECTOR TERMINALS

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      P21-5 (VCC) - P26-4 (SSRB) Below 1 Ω
      P21-3 (PLS1) - P26-5 (PLS)
      P21-4 (PLS2) - P26-3 (PLS2)
      P21-8 (SGND) - P26-6 (E)
      P21-5 (VCC) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      P21-3 (PLS1) - Body ground
      P21-4 (PLS2) -Body ground
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY RH (REAR RH)
