On-Vehicle Inspection

INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL SYSTEM

Using a three-way connector, connect vacuum gauge to the actuator hose.
Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC 3.
Start the engine.
Select the active test mode according to the message on the hand-held tester.

Vacuum:

INTAKE AIR CONTROL SYSTEM SPECIFICATION

VSV ON	Approx. 27 kPa (200 mm Hg, 7.9 in. Hg)
VSV OFF	0 kPa (0 mm Hg, 0 in. Hg.)
