On-Vehicle Inspection
- CHECK MANUAL OPERATION
- Check that the power seat works whenever the power seat switches (for slide, front vertical, lifter, reclining, lumbar support) are operated.
- CHECK MEMORY AND REPRODUCTION FUNCTION
- Turn the ignition switch ON and move the shift lever into the P position.
- Move the seat into the using each seat switch.
- Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.5 seconds and the seat position is memorized when the memory switch 1 is pressed with the SET button of the memory switch kept pressed.
- Move the seat out of the foremost and uppermost position using each seat switch.
- Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.5 seconds and the seat position is memorized when the memory switch 2 is pressed with the SET button of the memory switch kept pressed.
- Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.1 seconds and the seat automatically moves into the foremost and uppermost position (memorized position) when the memory switch 1 is pressed.
- Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.1 seconds and the seat automatically moves out of the foremost and uppermost position (memorized position) when the memory switch 2 is pressed.
- Check that the seat automatically moves into the memorized position when the memory switch 1 or 2 is pressed within 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned OFF and the key is pulled out from the ignition key cylinder then the driver's door is opened.
- Move the seat into the maximum position of the slide movement and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery while the memory switch is pressed ON. Then leave the seat in the position for 3 minutes. The seat position memory has been deleted.
- Move the seat into all the maximum positions (front/rear and upper/down) via each seat switch.
- Check that the seat does not move (the seat position is not memorized) when the M1 switch or the M2 switch is pressed, after the memory switch 1 and 2 are pressed at once while pressing the SET button of the memory switch.
