Without Hand-Held Tester

  1. Using Special Tool (09843-18040), connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3. See Figure.
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON. Depress the brake pedal 8 or more times within 5 seconds.
  3. Check that the ABS and VSC warning lights shows the normal code. See Figure.
  4. Remove the special tool from the DLC3.
