Diagnosis & Testing: Pre-Check

NOTE: If skid control ECU stores DTC, ABS warning light, VSC warning light and TRAC OFF indicator light are on. See Fig 1.

Release parking brake pedal.
When ignition switch is turned on, verify ABS warning light, VSC warning light, TRAC OFF indicator light (2WD only) and SLIP indicator light turns on for approximately 3 seconds.
If any indicator check result is not normal, see appropriate component test in SYSTEM TESTING .
