Reset Procedure With Standard Tires

When the warning light comes on or blinks, or chimes sound, check the tire pressure and adjust as necessary. If the warning light is still on even after the tire pressure is correctly adjusted, the tire may be flat. Repair as necessary. If the warning light is still on more than 15 minutes after tire pressure has been adjusted or is blinking, there is a malfunction in the TPM system. See appropriate manufacturer service information.

NOTE: If the spare tire is in use, the warning light will not turn off.
NOTE: If the customer has an alternate set of tires registered in the tire pressure monitor receiver, check those tires as well.

When the warning light blinks, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored in the tire pressure monitor receiver. See appropriate manufacturer service information.
