Problem Symptoms Table

HINT:

Inspect the fuse and relay before confirming the suspected area in the table below. Inspect each malfunction circuit in numerical order for the corresponding symptom. If the malfunction still exists even after checking and confirming that all the circuits are normal, replace the ECU.

  1. FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM (W/ MEMORY)

    Symptom Suspected Area
    Power seat does not operate (manual or memorized positions).
    1. ECU power source circuit
    2. Front power seat switch
    One function of power seat does not operate (manual or memorized positions).
    1. Power seat motor circuit
    2. Front power seat switch
    One or all manual seat functions do not operate (memorized positions OK).
    1. Front power seat switch
    Memory function does not operate.
    1. ECU power source circuit
    2. Power seat memory switch circuit
    3. Park/neutral position switch circuit
    4. Door courtesy switch circuit
    5. Front power seat switch
    All memory functions do not operate or operate a little then stop (manual functions OK).
    1. ECU power source circuit
    2. Front power seat switch
    One memory function does not operate or operates a little then stops (manual functions OK).
    1. Power seat motor assy
    2. Front power seat switch
    Only lumbar support operation function does not operate (Driver seat only).
    1. Power seat switch assy (Lumbar support)
    2. Lumbar support adjuster motor
    3. Wire harness or connector
    The power seat control system does not control the storing and restoring of the adjustable pedal and power mirror position (Driver seat only).
    1. Communication circuit
    2. Front power seat switch
    3. Outer Mirror Control ECU
    4. Adjustable pedal ECU
