Terminals Of Ecu

  1. FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH (MEMORY SEAT ECU AND SW)

    1. Disconnect the M6 and M7 connectors.
    2. Check the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (M6-4) - M7-1 (GND) Y - W-B Ignition switch Ignition switch OFF --> ON Below 1 V --> 10 to 14V
      SYSB (M6-8) - M7-1 (GND) GR - W-B Power source Always 10 to 14V
      GND (M7-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      +B (M7-5) - M7-1 (GND) L-O - W-B Battery Always 10 to 14V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M6 and M7 ECU connectors.
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connectors.

    Standard: 

    CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

    SI (M6-1) - GND (M7-1) G-Y - W-B Communication signal Memory switch ON and ignition switch ON Pulse generation
    SW1 (M6-2) - GND (M7-1) P - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Switch 1) Seat memory switch 1 is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    DCTY (M6-3) - GND (M7-1) R-G - W-B Driver side door courtesy lamp switch signal Driver side door is open --> closed Below 1 V --> 10 to 14V
    MMRY (M6-5) - GND (M7-1) P-L - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Set) Seat memory switch SET is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    SW2 (M6-6) - GND (M7-1) P-B - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Switch 2) Seat memory switch 2 is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    P (M6-7) - GND (M7-1) G-W - W-B Park/neutral position switch signal Ignition switch ON and shift lever P position --> other than P position 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    SLD+ (M7-2) - GND (M7-1) L - W-B Sliding motor signal (Forward) Seat moving forward using sliding switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    SLD - (M7-3) - GND (M7-1) Y - W-B Sliding motor signal (Rearward) Seat moving rearward using sliding switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    FRV- (M7-4) - GND (M7-1) B - W-B Front vertical motor signal (Downward) Seat cushion front portion lowering using front vertical switch --> Others 10 to 14V --> Below 1 V
    FRV+ (M7-6) - GND (M7-1) G - W-B Front vertical motor signal (Upward) Seat cushion front portion raising using front vertical switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    LFT+ (M7-7) - GND (M7-1) W - W-B Lifter motor signal (Upward) Seat raising using lifter switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V

    RCL+ (M7-8) - GND (M7-1) P - W-B Reclining motor signal (Forward) Seatback moving forward using reclining switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    LFT- (M7-9) - GND (M7-1) V - W-B Lifter motor signal (Downward) Seat lowering using lifter switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    RCL- (M7-10) - GND (M7-1) BR - W-B Reclining motor signal (Rearward) Seatback moving rearward using reclining switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, the front power seat switch LH may be malfunctioning.

  2. FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH RH (MEMORY SEAT ECU AND SW)

    1. Disconnect the M8 and M9 ECU connectors.
    2. Check the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (M8-4) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B Ignition switch Ignition switch OFF --> ON Below 1 V --> 10 to 14V
      SYSB (M8-8) - GND (M9-1) GR - W-B Power source Constant 10 to 14V
      GND (M9-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Constant Below 1 V
      +B (M9-5) - GND (M9-1) L-O - W-B Battery Constant 10 to 14V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M8 and M9 ECU connectors.
    4. Check the voltage of each terminal of the connectors.

    Standard: 

    CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

    SW1 (M8-2) - GND (M9-1) P - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Switch 1) Seat memory switch 1 is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    PCTY (M8-3) - GND (M9-1) R-G - W-B Front passenger side door courtesy lamp switch signal Front passenger side door is open --> closed Below 1 V --> 10 to 14V
    MMRY (M8-5) - GND (M9-1) P-L - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Set) Seat memory switch SET is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    SW2 (M8-6) - GND (M9-1) P-B - W-B Seat memory switch signal (Switch 2) Seat memory switch 2 is free --> pushed 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    P (M8-7) - GND (M9-1) G-W - W-B Park/neutral position switch signal Ignition switch ON and shift lever P position --> other than P position 10 to 14V --> Below 1 V
    SLD+ (M9-2) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Sliding motor signal (Forward) Seat moving forward using sliding switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V
    SLD- (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B Sliding motor signal (Rearward) Seat moving rearward using sliding switch --> Others 10 to 14 V --> Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, the front power seat switch RH may be malfunctioning.
