Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R12.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY VOLTAGE .

      Standard: 

    RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY VOLTAGE

    Tester connection Condition Specified condition
    REV-Body ground Ignition switch is ON.
    Shift lever is moved to R position.
    10 to 14 V
    REV-Body ground Ignition switch is ON.
    Shift lever is moved to any position except R.
    Below 1 V

    1. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  RADIO RECEIVER ASSY  ) 
    2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R12 and park/neutral position switch assy connector P1.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY RESISTANCE .

      Standard 

    RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY RESISTANCE

    Tester connection Condition Specified condition
    REV - P1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
    REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: GO TO "P0705"IN ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE (SEE  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE  )
