Inspection Procedure

- CHECK RESISTANCE (CANL - CANH OF DLC3)
- Measure the resistance between the terminals CANL and CANH of the DLC3.
RESISTANCEA 54 to 68 Ω B 1 MΩ or more - A: Go to step 3
- B: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3)
- Disconnect the junction connector (J17).
- Measure the resistance between the terminal CANL of the DLC3 and CANL of the junction connector (J17).
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less
- Measure the resistance between the terminal CANH of the DLC3 and CANH of the junction connector (J17).
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CANL - CANH OF YAW RATE SENSOR CONNECTOR)
- Connect the junction connector (J17).
- Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals CANL and CANH of the yaw rate sensor wire harness side connector.
OK:
Resistance: 1 MΩ or higher

- OK: Go to step 5
- NG: Go to next step
- CHECK JUNCTION CONNECTOR (J17)
- Disconnect the junction connector (J17).
- Measure the resistance between the terminals 1 and 4 of the junction connector.
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less
- Measure the resistance between the terminals 12 and 15 of the junction connector.
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less
- NG: REPLACE JUNCTION CONNECTOR
- OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (YAW RATE SENSOR CONNECTOR)
- Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Measure the voltage between terminals IG and GND of the yaw rate sensor connector.
OK:
Voltage: 10 to 14 V

- OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- NG: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (YAW RATE SENSOR - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the yaw rate sensor connector and body ground.
OK:
Resistance: 1 Ω or less

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE YAW RATE SENSOR
