Toe Control Link: Inspection

INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK BALL JOINT BOOT FOR DAMAGE
INSPECT TOE CONTROL LINK BALL JOINT FOR ROTATION CONDITION
1. As shown in the illustration, flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, before installing the nut.
2. Using a torque wrench, turn the nut continuously 1 turn per 2-4 seconds and take the torque reading on the 5th turn.
  1. Turning torque:
  2. 1.0-2.5 N.m (10-25 kgf.cm, 9-22 in.lbf)
