Problem Symptoms Table

PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE - REAR POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM

Symptom Suspected Area
All functions of rear power seat system do not operate. (Both left and right)
  1. Rear seat control switch power source circuit

If the suspected area above is functioning normally, replace the rear seat control switch.
Rear left side power seat system does not operate.
  1. Rear LH seat ECU power source circuit
  2. Rear seat control switch power source circuit
  3. Rear seat control switch circuit

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear LH seat ECU.
Rear right side power seat system does not operate.
  1. Rear RH seat ECU power source circuit
  2. Rear seat control switch power source circuit
  3. Rear seat control switch circuit

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear RH seat ECU.
Slide operation does not operate. (Rear left side)
  1. Rear seat control switch circuit
  2. Slide power seat motor circuit (LH)
  3. Slide position sensor circuit (LH)

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear LH seat ECU.
Slide operation does not operate. (Rear right side)
  1. Rear seat control switch circuit
  2. Slide power seat motor circuit (RH)
  3. Slide position sensor circuit (RH)

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear RH seat ECU.
Headrest operation does not operate. (Rear left side)
  1. Rear seat control switch circuit
  2. Headrest motor circuit (LH)
  3. Headrest limit switch circuit (LH)
  4. Headrest position sensor circuit (LH)

If the 4 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear LH seat ECU.
Headrest operation does not operate. (Rear right side)
  1. Rear seat control switch circuit
  2. Headrest motor circuit (RH)
  3. Headrest limit switch circuit (RH)
  4. Headrest position sensor circuit (RH)

If the 4 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear RH seat ECU.
Rear left side seat position memory function does not operate.
  1. Rear door LH ECU power source circuit
  2. Rear seat memory switch circuit (LH)
  3. Slide position sensor circuit (LH)
  4. Headrest position sensor circuit (LH)

If the 4 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear LH seat ECU.
Rear right side seat position memory function does not operate.
  1. Rear door RH ECU power source circuit
  2. Rear seat memory switch circuit (RH)
  3. Slide position sensor circuit (RH)
  4. Headrest position sensor circuit (RH)

If the 4 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear RH seat ECU.
Rear seat position return function does not operate.
  1. Passenger side J/B ECU power source circuit
  2. Rear seat return switch circuit

If the 2 suspected areas above is functioning normally, replace the rear LH seat ECU that are malfunctioning.
Rear left side door open linked return function does not operate.
  1. Rear door LH ECU power source circuit
  2. Door courtesy switch circuit (LH)

If the 2 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear door LH ECU.
Rear right side door open linked return function does not operate.
  1. Rear door RH ECU power source circuit
  2. Door courtesy switch circuit (RH)

If the 2 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the rear door RH ECU.
Rear left side vibration seat function does not operate.
  1. Vibration seat function does not operate (Rear seat ECU operation check)
  2. Vibration seat ECU communication circuit (LH)
  3. Vibration circuit (LH)

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the vibration ECU LH.
Rear right side vibration seat function does not operate.
  1. Vibration seat function does not operate (Rear seat ECU operation check)
  2. Vibration seat ECU communication circuit (RH)
  3. Vibration circuit (RH)

If the 3 suspected areas above are functioning normally, replace the vibration ECU RH.
