Inspection Procedure

INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG2)
1. Remove the ECU - IG2 fuse from the driver side J/B.
2. Measure the resistance of ECU - IG2 fuse.
  Standard: Below 1 Ω
1. NG: REPLACE FUSE
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND)
1. Disconnect the cruise control ECU (distance control ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals SGND (D2-10) and GND (D2-12) of the cruise control ECU (distance control ECU) and body ground.
  Standard: Below 1 Ω

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU-BATTERY)
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Measure the voltage between terminal B (D2-1) of the cruise control ECU (distance control ECU) and body ground.
  Standard: 10 to 14 V

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
