Inspection Procedure
- CHECK FUSE (AM1, ECU-IG NO. 1, ECU-B, ECU-ACC)
- Remove the AM1, ECU-IG No. 1 and ECU-ACC fuses from the instrument panel J/B.
- Remove the ECU-B fuse from the FL block.
- Check the resistance.
Standard: Below 1 Ω.
- NG: REPLACE FUSE
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY (POWER SOURCE)
- Disconnect the R21 and R22 ECU connectors.
- Check the voltage between the wire harness side connectors and the body ground.

R22 ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONSTester Connection Condition Specified Condition R22-7 (CPUB) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V R22-3 (BDR) - Body ground Constant 10 to 14 V R22-8 (SIG) - Body around Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 to 14 V

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: Go to next step.
- CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY (GROUND)
- Disconnect the R21 and R22 ECU connectors.
- Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors and the body ground.

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
- OK: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
