Cruise Control Main Switch: Replacement

  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM )
  2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2
  3. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.3
  4. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE and STEERING WHEEL )
  5. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
    1. Disconnect the connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 screws and cruise control main switch.

  6. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE and STEERING WHEEL ).
  7. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSY (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE and STEERING WHEEL )
  8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT (See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS )
