How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
    1. NEXT: Go to next step. 
  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK AND SYMPTOM CHECK (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
    1. NEXT: Go to next step. 
  3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN) 
    1. Using the hand-held tester to check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally.

      Result: 

      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      MPX DTC is not output A
      MPX DTC is output B
    1. B: Go to MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (See  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE  ) 
    2. A: Go to next step. 
  4. CHECK FOR DTCS (See  DTC CHECK/CLEAR   ) 
    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
    2. Delete the DTC.
    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggested.

      Result:

      Result Proceed to
      DTC does not reoccur A
      DTC reoccurs B
      1. B: Go to step   7 . 
      2. A: Go to next step.
