Inspection Procedure

CHECK FUSE (D P/SEAT, ECU-IG, ECU-B)
1. Remove the fuses from the instrument panel J/B assy and engine room J/B assy.
2. Check the continuity.
  Standard: Continuity
1. NG: REPLACE FUSE
2. OK: Go to next step.

CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH ASSY

Disconnect the P19 and P20 position control ECU & switch assy connectors.

Check the voltage between the terminal of the P19 or P20 connector and the body ground.

Standard:

POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH ASSY

Symbols (Terminal No.)	Condition	Specified Condition
+B (P19-5) <==> Body ground	Constant	10 - 14 V
SYSB (P20-8) <==> Body ground	Constant	10 - 14 V
IG (P20-4) <==> Body ground	Ignition switch OFF -> ON	0V -> 10-14 V
