Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING HAND-HELD TESTER

Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch ON and press the hand-held tester main switch ON.
Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then check that the mirror defogger operates.

DOOR ECU:

ACTIVE TEST REFERENCE

Item	Test Details
MIRR HEATER	Mirror defogger operation OFF/ON

OK: The mirror defogger operates normally.

NG: Go to step 2

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

INSPECT MIRROR DEFOGGER (See INSPECTION )
NG: REPLACE REMOTE CONTROL MIRROR

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
