How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

HINT:

Troubleshoot in accordance with the procedures on the following references.

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 
  2. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 
    1. If the symptom does not occur, proceed to A.
    2. If the symptom occurs, proceed to B.

    A: SYMPTOM SIMULATION 

    B: Go to Next Step 

  3. See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  
  4. INSPECTION (See  PRE-CHECK   ) 
  5. IDENTIFICATION OF PROBLEM 
  6. REPAIR OR REPLACE 
  7. CONFIRMATION TEST 

    Before troubleshooting: 

    1. Using the tester, check the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage: 10 to 14 V 

    2. Perform a visual check for blown fuses and poor connections in connectors.
