Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - MEMORY SEAT ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in CONNECTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION .

      Standard: 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P28-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      P28-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      P27-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MEMORY SEAT ECU - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION .

      Standard: 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      P27-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT) 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
