Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the seat memory switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION .

      Standard: 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 4 SET switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      2 - 4 SW1 switch pushed Below 1 Ω
      3 - 4 SW2 switch pushed Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE SEAT MEMORY SWITCH 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MEMORY SEAT ECU - SEAT MEMORY SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION .

      Standard: 

      CONNECTOR TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      S30-4 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      S30-1 (MRY) - P28-5 (MMRY) Always Below 1 Ω
      S30-3 (M2) - P28-6 (SW2) Always Below 1 Ω
      S30-2 (M1) - P28-2 (SW1) Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
