- Some systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT) initialization operation after replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM.
- Perform REGISTRATION (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM. Engine Control System - SFI System
