Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When the distance control ECU and/or ECM are replaced with a new one, initialization must be performed (See INSTALLATION
).
- CHECK DISTANCE CONTROL ECU
- Disconnect the distance control ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition A8-1 (B) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition A8-10 (SGND) - Body ground Always Below 1Ω A8-12 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
