Network Gateway Ecu: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side (See REMOVAL ).
- REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
- Remove the 2 nuts and the bolt and disengage the certification ECU with instrument panel wire.
- Turn the certification ECU with instrument panel wire in the direction indicated by the arrow.NOTE: Do not apply excessive force.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the nut and network gateway ECU.
