Steering Pad Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH 
    1. Remove the steering pad switch.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      d1-7 (DISP) - d1-8 (EAU) DISP switch is not pushed in 10 kΩ or higher
      d1-7 (DISP) - d1-8 (EAU) DISP switch is pushed in Below 1 Ω

      HINT:

      If the value is not as specified, replace the steering pad switch.
