Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install it to the fuel pressure pulsation damper.
    2. Install the fuel pressure pulsation damper to the fuel delivery pipe.
    3. Install the clip.

  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION   ) 
  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  6. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS  (See COOLING SYSTEM )
  7. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAKS (See  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION   ) 
  8. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CENTER UPPER BRACE 
  10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization procedures (See INITIALIZATION )

      HINT:

      Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
