Data List / Active Test
- DATA LIST
HINT:
Using the DATA LIST using the intelligent tester allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST early in troubleshooting is one way to save labor time.
NOTE: In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty.- Warm up the engine.
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the intelligent tester together with the CAN VIM (Controller Area Network Vehicle Interface Module) to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the tester on.
- Enter the following menus: "DIAGNOSIS / OBD / MOBD / ECT / DATA LIST".
- According to the display on the tester, read "DATA LIST".DATA LIST

HINT:
Performing the ACTIVE TEST using the intelligent tester allows relays, VSVs, actuators and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as the first step in troubleshooting is one method to save labor time.
It is possible to display the DATA LIST during the ACTIVE TEST.
- Warm up the engine.
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the intelligent tester together with the CAN VIM (Controller Area Network Vehicle Interface Module) to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the intelligent tester on.
- Enter the following items: "DIAGNOSIS / OBD / MOBD / ECT / ACTIVE TEST".
- According to the display on tester, perform "ACTIVE TEST".ACTIVE TEST
