On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR FRONT LH 
    1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2
    2. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
      MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 2
      Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      Motor gear rotates clockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor.

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY FRONT RH 
    1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2
    2. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
      MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative {-) → 2
      Motor gear rotates clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor.

  3. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR REAR LH 
    1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2
    2. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
      MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 2
      Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      Motor gear rotates clockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor.

  4. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR REAR RH 
    1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2
      NOTE: Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2
    2. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.
      MEASUREMENT CONDITION CHART

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → 1
      Battery negative (-) → 2
      Motor gear rotates clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → 2
      Battery negative (-) → 1
      Motor gear rotates counterclockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor.
