Height Control Sensor: Installation

HINT:

  1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR 
    1. Install the height control sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

    2. Align matchmarks on the height control sensor and bracket.
    3. Install the nut.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the connector.
    5. Install the rear tire.

  2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT 
    1. Install the height control sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

    2. 4WD:

      Install the height control sensor link with the bolt to the lower arm.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

    3. 2WD:

      Install the height control sensor link with the nut to the lower arm.

      Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf) 

    4. Install the front tire.
  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  5. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING (See  ADJUSTMENT  )
