Steering Pad Switch Cable: Inspection

  1. INSPECT STEERING PAD SWITCH CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    1. Measure the resistance of the cable.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      1 (ILL+2) -1 (ILL+2) Below 1 Ω
      4 (AU2) - 4 (AU2) Below 1 Ω
      2 (EAU) - 2 (EAU) Below 1 Ω
      3 (EAU) - 3 (EAU) Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the cable.
