Absorber Control Ecu: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ECU
- Fold back the floor carpet.
- Detach the 2 clamps to remove the wire harness from the vehicle body.NOTE: Do not apply an excessive force to the wire harness.
- Disconnect the ECU connectors.
- Remove the bolt, nut and ECU.NOTE: Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
