Front Active Stabilizer Control Ecu: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOLDING RH 
  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH 
  4. REMOVE NO. 2 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and intake duct.
  5. REMOVE FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 ground wires.
    2. Disconnect the wire harness clamp from the bracket.
    3. Using the procedures below, disconnect the ECU connector.
      1. Release the lever's lock. (*1)
      2. Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
      3. Disconnect the ECU connector. (*3)
        NOTE: When disconnecting the ECU connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.

    4. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts, and disconnect the ECU from the body.
    5. Disconnect the ECU connector.
