Park / Neutral Position Switch: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER AIR GUIDE BRACKET (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY
(See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- SUPPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- SEPARATE ENGINE REAR MOUNTING MEMBER (See INSTALLATION )
- REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.
- Remove the nut and transmission control shaft lever RH.
- Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock washer.
- Remove the lock nut and lock washer.
- Remove the bolt and park/neutral position switch.
