Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH

    1. Disconnect the M9, M10 and z6 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (M9-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M9-4) - GND (M9-1) LG - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M9-3) - GND (M9-1) Y - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M9-6) - GND (M9-1) L - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      - (Z6-12) - + (Z6-4) B-R - BR-W Mirror heater output and ground 25°C (75°F) 3.6 to 4.8 Ω
      SEL1 (M10-11)-SELE (M10-12) P-P Terminal for identification of driver side Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M9, M10 and z6 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      VC (Z6-5) - E1 (Z6-14) SB - GR Power source for mirror position sensor Power switch OFF during sleep mode Below 1 V
      Power switch ON (IG) 3.5 to 5.5 V
      ECI+ (M9-18) - ECI - (M9-19) BR - O EC mirror signal Electrochromic mirror system is operating 1.05 to 1.35 V
      Electrochromic mirror system is not operating Below 1 V
      EC+ (z6-7) - EC- (Z6-15) BR - B-L EC mirror signal Electrochromic mirror system is operating 1.05 to 1.35 V
      Electrochromic mirror system is not operating Below 1 V
      SEL1 (M10-11) - GND (M9-1) P - W-B Terminal for identification of driver side Always Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

    1. Disconnect the M4 and z5 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      GND (M4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      CPUB (M4-4) - GND (M4-1) LG - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (M4-3) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Ignition power supply Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      BDR (M4-6) - GND (M4-1) L - W-B Battery (ECU power source) Always 10 to 14 V
      - (z5-12)- + (z5-4) B-R - BR-W Mirror heater output and ground 25°C (75°F) 3.6 to 4.8 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the M4 and z5 ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. INSPECT MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH

    1. Disconnect the Q13 master switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION CHART

      E (Q13-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      BDR1 (Q13-10) - E (Q13-2) Y - W-B Power window power source Always 10 to 14 V
      CPUB (Q13-9) - E (Q13-2) G - W-B Power source for CPU and relevant device Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (Q13-20) - E (Q13-2) V - W-B Power source for CPU and relevant device Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the Q13 master switch connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      If the result is not as specified, the switch may have a malfunction.
