Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION (REAR RH) 
    1. Check that the manual UP / DOWN functions operate normally.

      OK: 

      Manual UP / DOWN functions operate normally. 

    NG: OTHER PROBLEM 

    OK: GO TO Next Step 

  2. CHECK LIGHT OF MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (AUTO LIGHT) (for Rear RH) 
    1. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    2. Operate the switch for 2 seconds or more.

    3. Check the blinking pattern of the AUTO light. Compare the blinking pattern with the illustration below.

      Result 

      RESULT REFERENCE

      Blinking Pattern Proceed to
      1 or 3 A
      2 B
      4 C

    B:  GO TO step  4

    C: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for Rear RH) 

    A: GO TO Next Step 

  3. RESET REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Check that the power window operates normally after it is reset.

      OK: 

      Power window operates normally. 

    OK: END 

    NG: GO TO Next Step 

  4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (POWER WINDOW SWITCH - POWER WINDOW MOTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the S1 switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the O4 power window motor connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      S1-8 (VCC) - O4-4 (SSRB) Below 1 Ω
      S1-2 (PLS1) - O4-3 (PLS) Below 1 Ω
      S1-3 (PLS2) - O4-5(PLS2) Below 1 Ω
      S1-5 (SGND) - O4-6(E) Below 1 Ω
      S1-8 (VCC) or O4-4 (SSRB) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      S1-2 (PLS1) or O4-3 (PLS) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      S1-3 (PLS2) or O4-5 (PLS2) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher
      S1-5 (SGND) or O4-6 (E) - Body ground 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
