- Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output (see
DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (BRAKE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT)
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch ON (IG).
- Select the "Electronically Controlled Brake System Warning Lamp" and "VSC Warning Lamp" in the ACTIVE TEST and operate the brake control (electronically controlled brake system/VSC) warning light by the intelligent tester.

The brake control (electronically controlled brake system/VSC) warning lights turn on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester.

OK: REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU (See REMOVAL )

- INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Check the combination meter (see

).
