Data List / Active Test

  1. READ DATA LIST 

    HINT:

    Using the intelligent tester's DATA LIST allows switch, sensor, actuator and other item values to be read without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST relay in troubleshooting is one way to save time.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Read the DATA LIST.

      Power source control ECU:

      OFF: Brake pedal released

      IG1 RELAY, MON2 IG1 outer relay monitor / ON or OFF ON: Power switch ON (IG)
      OFF: Power switch OFF
      IG2 RELAY MON1 IG2 inner relay monitor / ON or OFF ON: Power switch ON (IG)
      OFF: Power switch OFF
      IG2 RELAY M0N2 IG2 outer relay monitor / ON or OFF ON: Power switch ON (IG)
      OFF: Power switch OFF
      ACC RELAY MON ACC relay monitor / ON or OFF ON: Power switch ON (ACC)
      OFF: Power switch OFF
      STR UNLOCK SW Steering lock condition / ON or OFF ON: Steering is unlocked
      OFF: Steering is locked
      LATCH CIRCUIT Latch circuit/ON or OFF ON: Power switch ON (IG)
      OFF: Power switch OFF
      ST REQUEST SIG HV start request signal / ON or OFF ON: STSW signal is ON
      OFF: STSW signal is OFF
      VEHICLE SPD SIG Vehicle speed signal / STOP or RUN STOP: Vehicle is stopped
      RUN: Vehicle is running
      READY SIG READY condition / ON or OFF or UNKNOWN ON: Power switch ON (READY)
      OFF: Power switch ON (IG) / (READY OFF)
      UNKNOWN: Power switch OFF
      SHIFT P SIG Shift position signal / ON or OFF ON: Shift position is P
      OFF: Shift position is not P
      PWR COND Power supply condition / ALL, ACC ON, IG1 IG2, ST ON ALL: All relays are OFF
      ACC ON: ACC relay is ON
      IG1: IG1 relay is ON
      IG2: IG2 relay is ON
      ST ON: STSW signal is ON
      #CODE Number of diagnosis codes / Min: 0, max: 255 -

      Certification ECU: 

      CERTIFICATION ECU - DATA LIST REFERENCE

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST 

    HINT:

    Performing the intelligent tester's ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in troubleshooting is one way to save time. The DATA LIST can be displayed during the ACTIVE TEST.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3
    2. Turn the power switch ON (IG).
    3. Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the tester.
