Power Switch: Installation

  1. INSTALL POWER SWITCH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch.
    2. Connect the switch connector.

  2. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM (2006/02-2006/07) ).
