Fuel Pump Resistor: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP RESISTOR 
    1. Install the fuel pump resistor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the ground wire with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector with the clamp.

  2. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM RH SIDE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
