Fuel Pump Resistor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM RH SIDE COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE FUEL PUMP RESISTOR 
    1. Disconnect the connector and clamp from the fuel pump resistor.
    2. Remove the 3 bolts and fuel pump resistor, and disconnect the ground wire.
